The Audi A3 E-Tron was first introduce in 2015 as the 8V model. It was the first of the E-Tron hybrid vehicles and it uses an 8V generation 4 electric steering rack. This model ran unit 2019 when there was an upgrade to the 8Y model.
The electric steering rack has been completely disassembled, cleaned and examined for wear and breakage. Worn out, missing or non-functioning components have been replaced with new or rebuilt components. It is the functional equivalent of a new part and is virtually indistinguishable from a new part.
