The BMW E30 introduced in 1985 was upgraded in 1989 to a new style of hydraulic steering rack, this steering rack has been completely disassembled, cleaned and examined for wear and breakage. Worn out, missing or non-functioning components have been replaced with new or rebuilt components. It is the functional equivalent of a new part and is virtually indistinguishable from a new part.
This rack also come with Zinc plated, pipes, bottom cap, and thrust plate, this is how the rack would have come as standard from the factory.
