The steering rack for the TVR Cerbera from 1996 to 2006 often leak from the top pinion seal or at the end of the steering rack into the gators. They can also develop excess play in the steering rack, where the steering will begin to feel loose and ineffective.
This rack is the later TVR rack, that TVR manufactured themselves, many early types of the vehicle used racks from other manufacturers.
