The Volkswagen Tiguan Generation 3 steering rack has been completely disassembled, cleaned and examined for wear and breakage. Worn out, missing or non-functioning components have been replaced with new or rebuilt components. It is the functional equivalent of a new part and is virtually indistinguishable from a new part.

Initialisation

This steering rack will need to be initialised to the vehicle upon refitting.

Until the steering angle sensor has been successfully initialised, you will continually have DTC’s present and warning lights on the dash for any functions that rely on a valid G85 angle sensor output such as traction control.
