The Vauxhall Mokka steering system was updated in 2018 from an electric steering column to an electric steering rack, similar to the one used in the later Corsa F.
The electric steering rack can fail in different ways, mechanically and electrically.
The steering rack has been completely disassembled, cleaned and examined for wear and breakage. Worn out, missing or non-functioning components have been replaced with new or rebuilt components. It is the functional equivalent of a new part and is virtually indistinguishable from a new part.
