The Volvo v60 electric steering rack can fail in different ways, they often fail due to water ingress which can lead to the steering becoming very noisy and clunky as the steering wheel is turned. They can also fail electrically when water makes its way into the electric motor on the unit.
The rack has been completely disassembled, cleaned and examined for wear and breakage. Worn out, missing or non-functioning components have been replaced with new or rebuilt components. It is the functional equivalent of a new part and is virtually indistinguishable from a new part.
